About the course
Noorani Qaida is a step-by-step primer that teaches you to read Arabic so you can read the Quran. It starts with single letters and their correct sounds, then adds vowel marks, joined letters and the first Tajweed rules, one small lesson at a time.
Because every lesson builds on the last, a good teacher matters: they hear each sound and correct it before it becomes a habit. That is why our Noorani Qaida course is taught live and one-on-one. It suits children from age 4 and adults starting from zero.

Curriculum
Every student starts at the right level after a free assessment.
The 29 Arabic letters, their shapes and correct pronunciation (makharij).
How letters change shape at the start, middle and end of words.
Fatha, kasra, damma, tanween, sukoon and shaddah, practised on real words.
Madd letters and how long to hold each sound.
Noon and meem rules, qalqalah and stopping correctly.
Reading short verses and moving on to the Mushaf.
Outcomes
Most children finish in 3 to 6 months and most adults in 2 to 4 months with 3–5 classes a week. Then you can continue with Quran reading with Tajweed.

Yes. Many of our students are adults learning to read the Quran for the first time, in private lessons at their own pace.
Both teach the same foundations with a slightly different order and layout. We mainly use Noorani Qaida but can teach either.
Students move on to reading the Quran with Tajweed, and many later join our Hifz program.
